I’ve been a bridesmaid/maid of honor several times.
Every experience has been different.
Despite the dresses you’ll prob never wear again, the panicked calls or last-minute stressed freak outs, there is something really great about getting to be a part of a such an important moment for someone you care about.
It’s been a long week, but today I got to stand beside a friend and watch her take the first steps of a whole new journey in her life.
That is just kind of… cool.
The dancing at the end of the day is kind of awesome too, especially since it follows a slice of cake (with a gigantic chocolate covered strawberry in this case).
