Pats care about winning, not cheating

Patriots linebacker Adalius Thomas picked off a pass and headed toward the endzone in the second quarter.

For anyone that took the Patriot’s “cheating” seriously and feel betrayed by this team, GET OVER IT. Because the Pats certainly have and they’re out to prove what kind of team they really are; Winners not cheaters. Focusing all of their energy on the game last night against San Diego, the Pats (and Coach B) started off the game with a seven play touchdown that demonstrated they didn’t need to cheat to destroy their competition. After a 24-0 lead in the first half, the shell-shocked Chargers struggled back with a couple TDs in the second half, but it was child’s play compared to the two additional TDs the Pats scored to win the game 38-14.

The clear heroes of the game, besides Brady, were Moss (who is showing he can catch almost anything thrown at him), Thomas (my new favorite player who out-ran the Chargers to score a TD in the 2nd quarter), and Welker (demonstrating some very fancy footwork and determination that anyone could learn from).

Miss the game? No worries, check out the Boston Herald’s play-by-play summary by Chris Gasper and pretend you saw it live like the rest of us smarties. Now if only I can figure out a way to see it at Gillette Stadium next time…. hmmmmm.
