Restaurant Week is on its Way to Boston!

One of my favorite times of year is Restaurant Week. The most delicious food for a fraction of the price? Who wouldn’t love that!? Well brace yourself Bostonians because this two week long period of bliss is only a week and a half away! Beginning August 10th and running through August 22rd (minus weekends), this is your chance to try treats from the tastiest restaurants in the area. I’ve got one reservation for Rocca booked already (can’t wait) and plans for at least two more once I decide on the restaurants.

This years prices come in at a very reasonable recession proof rate – Lunch ($20.08), Dinner ($33.08)

Your can’t really beat that when it comes to being served a 3 course meal (oh yes, I’m talking dessert)! Restaurants create special menus just for Restaurant Week participants which usually include a mix of familiar and intriguing flavors. Remember that beverages, taxes and gratuity aren’t included, however, so be nice to your servers and tip well. They’re losing money on the smaller dinner bills.

My advice is to book your reservations ASAP since they become near impossible to get during Restaurant Week itself. Make sure you check out their menus ahead of time and be sure to mention that you’re going for Restaurant Week when you book your reservation on OpenTable. Good luck and happy eating!
